OUR BOAT

Emperor Harmoni is Emperor Divers Indonesia's brand new liveaboard, the second for Emperor Indonesia. One of only a select few liveaboards in this region to have two engines, at 48m she happily welcomes 20 guests in spacious surroundings.

Emperor Harmoni has been designed and built taking into consideration Indonesia's unique and diverse conditions; harnessing the Emperor Indonesia team's extensive experience in liveaboard and charter vessels to meet the very highest standards and expectations.

OUR CABINS

Emperor Harmoni's three decks have six guest cabins on the lower deck and four on the upper. All bathrooms are equipped with a shower, sink and toilet.  You will be provided with a bath and hand towel, plus an additional towel for use on deck. You may wish to bring an extra towel with you. Dive towels are available on the deck and are changed every day. The housekeeping crew will clean your cabin daily, generally after your first or second dive of the day. Towels and bed linen are changed once a week.

FOOD ON BOARD

The meals on-board are usually buffet style with a variety of Indonesian and International dishes to suit everyone. Indonesian food is traditionally a bit spicy, fish is available on-board, mostly frozen with a few fresh catches along the way. Water, tea and coffee and are complimentary. Soft drinks, fresh juices and alcohol (cocktails, spirits, wine and beer) are chargeable. For any special dietary requests, such as vegetarian or any allergies, please inform us prior to arrival. We source items locally, therefore items such as, but not limited to; wholemeal pastas or flour, gluten free products or soya substitutes are not typically available.

AMENITIES

The main deck features a spacious restaurant, lounge area with a 49" HD flat screen, digital movie and music library, board games, bar and a camera suite.

Enjoy spacious dining and relaxation areas or relax with a massage on deck; whatever your choice, she's sure to bring harmony and joy.

All diving is done from two large RIBs with outboards to get you to the perfect dive spot every time. She offers free Nitrox, all diving and safety equipment including SMBs free of charge and up to four dive guides.

MOST RELEVANT INFORMATION

  • The trip begins in Waisai and ends in Sorong
  • The closest airport is Sorong/Dominique Edward Osok (SOQ).
  • We strongly suggest to avoid the domestic flight to Waisai; instead better arrive one day in advance and take the ferry in the morning from Sorong to Waisai
  • Pickup time at the airport is according to your flights. Give yourself enough time to go through immigration and pickup your bags
  • You will be met by a representative wearing a uniform and holding a sign representing the boat . The meeting point is at the main exit after you have collected your luggage

EMBARKATION AND DEPARTURE

  • You can check in on the boat as of 12:00
  • The boat departs Waisai in the afternoon on the same day or the same day or as soon as everybody are on board
  • The vessel is equipped with European (2 pin) power sockets, Power socket adapters
  • Accepted payment methods on board: Cash, VISA, Mastercard, EUR, USD, GBP, Local currency
  • DIN/INT adaptors are available on board
  • Towels and soap are included

ARRIVAL AND DISEMBARKATION

  • Your last dives will be on the second to last day in the morning
  • It is your responsibility to ensure you respect the 24 hour no-fly time after your last dive!
  • The boat docks back in Sorong around 16:00 on the second to last day
  • Check out and disembarkation is between 08:00 and 12:00 on the last day.
  • Transfer back to the airport

EXTRA INFORMATION

  • To get from Sorong to Waisai there two options:
  • A 2 hour speedboat ferry from Sorong to Waisai. Clients will be met at Sorong airport and accompanied to the ferry by a member of the Emperor Raja Laut team. The ferry leaves at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM
  • A 30 minute flight with either Nam Air in the morning or Wings (a subsidiary of LionAir) in the early afternoon - NOT ADVISABLE.
  • Emperor advise guests arrive in Sorong the day before boarding Raja Laut. Emperor can help and advise regarding hotels in Sorong. Guests will then be met at their hotel, taken to the ferry port in Sorong and then to Waisai.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • 30+ logged dives recommended
  • If you are an Open Water Diver, we recommend having advanced experience or taking your Advanced Open Water course on board to maximise your enjoyment from the trip.
  • Inexperienced and beginner divers may find some dives challenging and may be asked by the Cruise Director to skip dives that are not suitable for their diving experience
  • We recommend a Skills Review if it has been longer than six months since your last dive.
  • The Marine Park of Raja Ampat is world renowned for being the epicentre of marine biodiversity
  • Spectacular scenery both above and below the water
  • A bucket list item for both divers and lovers of nature.
  • Mantas can be seen in sizeable groups passing over the reefs.
  • Turtles can often be seen grazing on the coral reef
  • Pods of dolphins pop by to delight divers
  • An array of shark species - White tip, Black tip, Whale, Hammerhead & Wobbegong
  • Rare critters to search for and beautiful coral gardens.

PROGRAM 

DAY 1

  • Safety Briefing,  Crew Introduction, Necessary Dive Paperwork, Cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place before departing the Harbour.
  • During the journey to our first dive site for a check dive, please take this opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the vessel and make yourself comfortable. 
  • Please Note: This is a sample itinerary and nº of dives, dive sites, etc. may be subject to change due to weather conditions and other unforseeable factors

DAY 2 - 8

  • Enjoy your full board diving safari trip.
  • You will dive the best sites on the itinerary

DAY 9

  • 2 dives in the morning depending on guest flight schedules and the 24 hour requirement before flying.

DAY 10

  • Breakfast before check out

DIVING AREAS

  • Raja Ampat is a Marine Park world renowned for being the epicentre of marine biodiversity. It can be divided into three sections covering the North, Central and Southern Sections.
  • The 9 night cruises take in sites in the Northern, Central and Southern Sections of the national park.

The dives in the Central Section includes: 

  • Gam: Mayhem, Dalam and Citrus Ridge
  • Penemu: Barracuda Point, My Reef, Melisa's Garden and Galaxy
  • Arborek: Arborek Jetty, Manta Sandy and Lolasi
  • Cape Kri Area: Cape Kri, Chicken Reef, Sardine Reef, Blue Magic, Mioskon and Mike's Point

The dives in the Northern Section includes:

CANCELLATION POLICY

What if I need to cancel my reservation?Your reservation request is non-binding and can be cancelled at any time within the first 72 hours. During this time you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our booking team to any other questions you may have. After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • 30 % non refundable
  • Between 120 days y 90 days before trip = 70 % refundable
  • Less than 90 days before trip = no refund

In case of cancellation, the refund will be transferred to your bank account, credit card or paypal account within 10 working days.

BEFORE TRAVELLING

  • Make sure you meet the country's requirements corresponding to your nationality
  • Make sure your passport is valid at least six months after the date you plan to visit the country
  • Diving insurance is mandatory for divers of all ages on all of our trips: bring your certificate as proof
  • It is strongly recommended to have travel insurance that is appropriate for the type of diving holidays you are going to do
  • Check the electrical standards (such as which plugs are used) in your destination country before travelling and bring the appropriate adaptor if necessary.
  • The itinerary and the number of dives are indicative and are subject to weather conditions and conditions: safety is always first
  • All divers must provide their diving certification card
  • Diving computers are compulsory
  • Local rates, fuel surcharges, distance rates, port fees, etc. may change without notice due to changes in government policy, changes in the price of oil, etc. The changes are beyond our control and the increases must be paid if the boat requests them. We will endeavour to inform you of any changes as soon as possible. A change in these rates does not entitle you to cancel the trip.
