M/Y Lucy is a 37 meter mono hull luxury dive safari boat (live-aboard) designed for maximum level of comfort for the seasoned Scuba Diver who appreciates diving within a high standard and secure environment.


Lucy sleeps up to 20 guests in climate-controlled cabins with en suite shower, mini bar, reading lights and bedside USB charging points.

  • Main deck has 2 double bed cabins and 2 twin share cabins.

Freshly cooked meals everyday can be enjoyed in a lavish, contemporary styled Dining Room. Meals are proudly presented as ‘fine cuisine’ and comprises both Local and Western fare.

If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, make sure you mention it at the time of booking. Of course, they will cater for your request.


The Lounge is equipped with a 65″ Ultra HD cinema surround system, hand made speakers by French firm ‘Focal’ and a Bar where a chilled draft beer is served for your ultimate leisure and relaxing time. And of course a superb three-course meal is served to our guests in a fresh and contemporary designed Dining Room.

The Top and Sundeck are furnished to the highest standard with bean bags and sufficient seating area or lie down for a nap or sun bathing.

The Dive Deck is superbly laid out with ample space for all your accessories, charging points and with superb wall mounted Bluetooth/USB Clarion music player, marine grade amps and Q Acoustics ceiling installed speakers.

The engine room is fitted with excellent machinery such as an 8000 litres a day water maker, three dive compressors, three AC chillers, two generators and last but not least, two 750HP Cummins engines.

The crew are on hand throughout your trip to make sure your trip runs smoothly. They are proud to have won national awards for the excellent level of service on board.

  • The trip begins in Port Sudan and ends in Port Sudan
  • The nearest airport is Port Sudan International Airport (PZU)
  • Pickup time at the airport is according to your flights. Give yourself enough time to go through immigration and pickup your bags
  • On arrival, the local agent will receive you at the airport and be transferred the port.


  • You can check in on the boat from 16.00
  • The boat departs port at around 8:00 on the next day

  • Your last dives will be on the second to last day in the morning

  • At the airport hold the boarding cards of the flights till you received the Visa.
  • The operator will process and issue your entry visa in Port Sudan. We will send you a copy of your entry visa which you should keep with you until you arrive to Port Sudan Airport where you will receive your original one from us. Please, note that this kind of visa is only valid via Port Sudan airport.
  • Upon your arrival to Port Sudan airport, you will be received and welcomed by one of the boat representatives, who will give you your original entry visa, then your passport will be checked and collected for one day by an immigration officer to complete your entry procedures. After you collect your luggage we will head for customs police for routine check up. Then we will drive you to your boat in a twenty five minutes trip.
  • The visa is for the liveaboard and for the land visit in the RED Sea State
  • Divers are requested to show proof of diving qualification and a medical statement not older than 6 months at the beginning of the safari.
  • Nitrox and rental equipment have to be prearranged

  • Strong currents, there will be mandatory guiding for Open Water Divers

  • Encounter an abundance of pelagics - Hammerheads and Greys. Barracudas, Jack fish and big Tuna
  • This is a special and beautiful itinerary with Large reefs, lagoons and pinnacles exposed to the open sea.
  • Features of these dives are the beauty of corals and walls and the possibility to see: hammerheads, grey sharks, white tip, Longimanus, pelagic fishes (big tunas, Jack Fish, barracudas).
  • During this week will be possible to dive in Abington, Angarosh, Merlo Reef and Qita el Banna that are reefs emerging from water depths. These dive spots are not so often visited guarantee an exceptional amount of fish, beautiful coral reefs and sharks.
  • The island of Mesharifa is surrounded by shallow waters and protected by two reefs. In hot season here you can see large groups of manta rays. To swim with these friendly creatures is an experience that you’ll remember forever.


Day 1

  • Transfer to the port 
  • Check in and prepare the diving equipment as we go out to sea immediately.
  • Safety briefing, introduction of the crew, necessary diving formalities, cabin assignment and boat orientation will be carried out before leaving the port.
  • During the trip to our first dive site for a control dive, you can take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the boat and get comfortable.
  • Note: This is a sample itinerary and the number of dives, dive sites, etc. may be subject to change due to weather conditions and other unpredictable factors.

Day 2 - 14

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have. After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • 30 % is non-refundable
  • Between 120 days and 90 days before the trip = 70 % is refundable
  • 90 days before the trip = no refund

In case of cancellation the refund will be transferred to your bank account, credit card or paypal account within 10 business days


  • Make sure you meet the country's requirements corresponding to your nationality
  • Make sure your passport is valid at least six months after the date you plan to visit the country
  • Diving insurance is mandatory for divers of all ages on all of our trips: bring your certificate as proof
  • It is strongly recommended to have travel insurance that is appropriate for the type of diving holidays you are going to do
  • Check the electrical standards (such as which plugs are used) in your destination country before travelling and bring the appropriate adaptor if necessary.
  • The itinerary and the number of dives are indicative and are subject to weather conditions and conditions: safety is always first
  • All divers must provide their diving certification card
  • Diving computers are compulsory
  • Local rates, fuel surcharges, distance rates, port fees, etc. may change without notice due to changes in government policy, changes in the price of oil, etc. The changes are beyond our control and the increases must be paid if the boat requests them. We will endeavour to inform you of any changes as soon as possible. A change in these rates does not entitle you to cancel the trip.
